Basic Direction

The "Steirischer Astronomen Verein" (Styrian Astronomical Association, abbrev. StAV) is a non-profit association of amateur and professional astronomers located in Styria (mostly in the Graz area), who have set their target to promote public interest in astronomy. The online-media of the Styrian astronomical association is the StAV-Homepage. StAV is independent from all policital parties and special interest groups, the same is naturally applicable for the StAV-Homepage.
